I am thrilled to announce my second annual STEM-A-THON event in partnership with Boolean Girl. After the success of the first in-person event last year in VA, I am ready to expand this year's event as an online Hour of Code event for kids ages 7+. As a youth ambassador of John Hopkins Children’s Center, I am committed to supporting the Pediatric Diabetes research group with donating all the proceeds through this fun event! Every year John Hopkins Children's Center hosts a one-week diabetes camp called Camp Charm City to ensure that children with diabetes from across the Baltimore metropolitan area have access to a fun, safe, and supportive environment to learn and thrive while managing their diabetes. Staffed by volunteer pediatric endocrinologists, nutritionists, nurses, behavioral health specialists, and teenage diabetes patient Counselors-in-Training (CIT), campers are supervised by highly trained individuals who understand the management and unique needs of each child.
